What I'm Reading: 2018 Favorite Book + GIVEAWAY

While I haven't been keeping up on blogging these books, I did read quite a few these past couple of months.  I set a goal back in January of last year (whoa) that I wanted to read 100 books and unfortunately I fell short.  I started off strong but the end of the year was so crazy and I couldn't keep up.  With that being said, I did end up reading 73 books and I feel like that is still pretty good but I'm hoping for a few more this year.  I'm terrible at talking about books and have come up with a new system for the ones I read in 2019, so I'm just going to list the books I've read since September and then list my very favorite book(s) of 2018 at the bottom.  There also might be a giveaway down there so make sure you read to the very end!  Enjoy!

Then She Was Gone

That is a wrap for my 2018 books!  If you made it this far, congrats!  In order to reward you for scrolling through all that, I've decided to give away a copy of my very favorite book of the whole year!  I couldn't pick just one so if you win, you will be given the choice between my two favorites!

First off...

All Your Perfects

If you've been around for awhile, you already know Colleen Hoover is my very favorite.  I named her book, It Ends With Us, as my favorite book of 2017 and so it doesn't come as a surprise that her latest book was right up at the top of my list.  I cried through this book and it just pulled on all my heartstrings.  Go read it if you haven't.  You will not be disappointed.

But you also need to go read...

The Sound of Gravel

I never thought I would be naming a memoir as one of my favorite books of 2018 but I could not put it down.  It kept me up far too late and I probably was way less productive than normal during the week I read it because I wanted to know what was going to happen next.  Her experiences were so painful and real and I'll admit that some of it was hard to read at times but it was riveting and heartbreaking and honest and my heart went out to her the entire time I read it.  I've recommend this multiple times to my family and friends and I promise you it is worth the time to read it.

In order to win one of the books listed above, go enter below!  This giveaway will end on Sunday, January 6, and the winner will be announced on Monday, January 7.  Good luck!
