5 Friday Faves

Happy Friday!  Even though every single day in the summer is like a weekend to me, there is just something about Friday that will always be my favorite.  It has been foreverrrr since I've done a Friday Faves and I'm so excited about this one.  So many good things that you all need to check out below!

one
Water Beads (here) + Water Table (here) + Hair Bows (here)

I've been seeing multiple posts about these in the last couple of weeks and I thought it was finally time for the girls to try them out.  Amazon Prime to the rescue and I ordered them on Monday and they were on our doorstep yesterday afternoon (how did people survive before this service?). I promised Kenna and Teagen that we could get them out after their nap and they went down without any crying (insert praise hands here).  I decided to put them in their water table because I thought that would be the easiest way to keep them contained.  VERY IMPORTANT NOTE - make sure you put the beads in water prior to your children waking up from their nap.  I did not know that the beads took some time to fill up and after I read the instructions and it said to let it soak for 6ish hours, I was concerned.  We still decided to fill up the water table with them and they were playable within 15 minutes I would say.  Kenna has an attention span of a nat and she played with them for maybe 12 seconds but Teagen loved them and I had to end up dragging her inside because she didn't want to put them down.  I would say they were definitely work the $11 and the best part is that they are reusable.

Rockstar Jeans (here) + Ruffle Sleeve Top (here) + iPhone Case (here)

Any other short girls out there?  Anybody else hate shopping for pants?  My whole life they've been too long and it is honestly depressing because I have to pass up so many cute choices because they don't come in a short or petite size.  I really love AE jeans and I would say 90% of the ones in my closet come from there.  I was on Old Navy's website a few weeks ago and saw these jeans pop up on the main screen.  I LOVED the bottoms so I clicked on the picture and they had petite!  I was a little skeptical of how they would fit but I thought it couldn't hurt to try.  I don't typically buy anything full price, so after I used whatever discount Old Navy was passing out on this day, I got the jeans for under $25!  They fit perfect.  I'm typically a 8 in every single pair of jeans and these were no exception.  I also ordered the petite length and they fit perfect!  They don't even have to be rolled up (which I still have to do with my AE jeans even with the short length).  I ordered a few more pairs in different styles and I'm hoping they will hold up well in the wash.

Echo (here)

I think I might always be the last one to any party.  I tend to live in my own world and I know ol' Alexa has been around forever, BUT she is new to the Baldwin Home and we love her!  I love that she tells me what is on my calendar, reminds me when my Amazon packages ship, and always knows what time Big Brother is on.  The girls prefer to ask her to play both the Frozen Soundtrack and the Moana Soundtrack about 500 times a day and when I'm not looking, I can hear them tell her to turn it up.  Tommy just likes to walk past and randomly ask her questions which she usually has no answer for.  Is she a household necessity?  No.  But she is super fun even though she is probably recording every single conversation we've had in the last couple of weeks.

Baseball Hats (here)

See those cute hats up above?  I received a box on my doorstep yesterday and I'm SO excited to talk about it on the blog next week (plus I have a discount code for you all to use)!  All I want you to know is that you need this company in your life because it makes shopping for your little's so simple and easy, plus who doesn't love getting cute packages at their door (see picture below)!
Doormat (here) + Olive Buckets (here) + Birkenstocks (here)

five
Toddler Monitor (here) + Pajamas (here) + Paper Fans (here) + Monogram (here

Months back I talked about how I ordered the Toddler Monitor for Kenna because she kept escaping from her bedroom and I would find her in various places around the house when she should have been sleeping.  I was so excited to get it and honestly, it has been awesome for her and us!  She now knows that it will alert us if she gets out of her room and I think that has deterred some of her late night/early morning wandering.

I love that it sends me an alert right to my phone (even if it is on Do Not Disturb mode) and the alert is definitely loud enough to wake me up.  Recently, Baby T learned how to climb out of her crib (nooooo)!  I realize that we need to switch her to a big girl bed but I'm just not ready to make that step.  The Toddler Monitor has now been switched over to Teagen's room so that I know if she escapes from her crib and out of her room.  I'm thinking I might need to order another one because hello wild children!  If this sounds like a similar situation to what is happening at your house, I would definitely go out and get one.  The ladies who own Toddler Monitor were so gracious and gave me a discount code to pass on to all of you!  Use the code "luckyou" for a 15% off discount + FREE SHIPPING in the US.  I would say that this device gives me a little more peace of mind at night and I know I won't wake up to find an empty bedroom.  Go check them out now!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

The weather today is feeling kind of fall-ish so I think I might go put on a hoodie, light a pumpkin candle (too soon?), and watch Hocus Pocus! #tistheseason
