Where are my readers at? Although this month lasted .02 seconds, I still managed to squeeze 4 books into the back-to-school craziness. Although, if you ask Tommy, I just managed to hold my iPad long enough most nights to fall asleep with it in my hand. You know what they say...
Especially in the beginning of the year! Give me all the sleep and coffee! However, I'm hoping to stay awake a little later at night in September because I have some good books on hold at my library that I can't wait to read! But before that review, check out the few that made my list this month below!
I love thrillers that have me guessing what is going to happen next! I also like books that I can follow along with and this covered both parts! There were a few times that I wasn't sure where this book was headed but I loved how the story ended up unfolding.

I love Sally Hepworth and her books! Have I mentioned that before? While this one didn't pull on my heartstrings (or make me ugly cry) like her previous ones did, it still did not disappoint. The ending was definitely unexpected.

This book has been on hold at my library for over 6 months. There were over 100 people waiting for a copy when I requested it. The wait was well worth it. So sad. Like my heart hurt for these characters when I was reading it. There were quite a few times that I went and hugged my babies tight after reading because oh my goodness. I just can't imagine the situations these kids (and parents) were put in. Go read it.

This book was not my favorite (in the beginning) and I think I was reading it for at least 2 weeks before I finished. I just felt like there was nothing that grabbed me from the start BUT I was glad I did not give up on it because it did get better about halfway through although I felt it ended abruptly. This was my least favorite of the 4.
Also, as I was finishing writing the review for the last book, I realized I forgot to post them in order from my least favorites to my favorites! Ooops! Honestly, I was too tired to fix it and they were all pretty good, but if I had to pick one for you to read, definitely choose Before We Were Yours.
Don't forget to check me out on Goodreads here!
Happy Reading!
