I'm not sure where you live, but it can get stinkin' hot here in Indiana during the summer. I'll be honest, I love summer because I get to spend more than 2 months straight with my girls AND the lake is my favorite place in the entire world; however, I hate being sweaty and that definitely is a problem when temps are 90+. My girls love to play outside and when I know it is going to be super humid and warm that day, we try to get out early and run around. Most days though they beg to go outside and play after their nap, so I've been trying to find ways to stay cool, while enjoying time outdoors. I'm sharing some of our can't live withouts this summer!
1. Teagen got this sprinkler for her birthday and it is so easy to hook up! Bonus...one spot in our grass is very, very green from all the extra water. You're welcome, Tommy!
2. I'm a sucker for a cute swimsuit, and while my girls don't have this exact one, I think I might need to get it for next year.
3. We got a water table for Kenna a few years ago and Teagen just got a sand table for her birthday this year. They love both of them but I like the one above because it combines both into one table. I'm all for less clutter!
4. Another birthday present for Teagen this year (are you catching a theme?) was this pool! Tommy refused to blow it up on the grass but I convinced him to blow it up on the back porch and the girls love to get in and splash around. I also have been found floating away in it quite often. I love nap time!
5. My mother-in-law bought the girls personalized towels from Pottery Barn Kids last year and I'm oficially obsessed with anything and everything that have my kids names on them. I love these towels because the girls never fight over who gets which one.
6. Anyone else on board with the giant inflatable sprinklers? We have the rainbow one from Pottery Barn Kids and while it is the absolute cutest thing ever, the way it was designed has some major flaws. It is constantly flopping over and we've only gotten it out a few times because of this issue. I'm thinking I need to get that unicorn one for the girls!
Happy shopping AND happy Friday! I'm off to spend all my money at IKEA with my Mama and Kenna! Enjoy your weekend!
